a little story 'bout undertaking (promises) .

this is the little story i had previously posted in chinese .
i've alr translated it all into english and hopefully you
peeps do understand ! HAPPY READING ! ((:

this is a story thats gotta do with undertaking
or simply to say ,, promises .

there was once a hunter who loves to make promises to himself .
one day , while he was out hunting ,
he made such a promise to himself ,
'today , i shall only hunt for rabbits !'
however ,, all the animals he ran into was chickens .
that night he returned home empty handed .
lying on bed , he was thinking hard ,
and finally made another promise to himself .
'i shall hunt for only chickens tmr !'
thus , he was out hunting the next day and
this time all the animals he ran into was foxes .
again ,, he returned empty handed .
that night he was still thinking hard .
finally he made another promise to himself ,,
'i swear that i'd only hunt for foxes tmr !'
the nxt day came ,, he was out hunting for foxes .
however ,, once again ,,
all the animals he ran into was just wild boars !
once more he reap nothing which made him feels despair .
night falls ,, he continued to be deep in his thoughts
but this time he could not make any more promises
nor take back all the words he once said .
it was all too late .
the hunter gradually died away in his thoughts .

many times in life ,,
we'd make a lot of promises to ourselves or even
to other ard us .
how many times would you actually keep to all these promises and never break them ??
indeed ,, its only right to keep to ur promises and
make such promises becos you really mean it .
however ,, have you ever give it a thought that the promises you have made is a realistic one ??
are you capable of bearing such a responsibility ??
promises should not be made just for the sake of making it
but it should come deep from your heart .
something you really yearn to do .
however ,, do remind urself of the impossibles too .
is it a little too much for you ??
at many times ,, just like what happened to the hunter .
in fact ,, all the promises he made to himself was redundant .
everytime ,, the animals he ran into was so much better than those he promised to hunt for .
he gave up all the chances given to him just becos of him being stubborn of just doing wad he believes in and not wanting to
give a chance to accept wad he was given .
he could be much better off now .

just like in life ,, sometimes its needless to restrain your life too much .
why not allow urself a carefree life that may make you feel even happier ??
and remember ,,
when you are despair ,, dun ever think its the end .
happiness has never left you ,,
just that you are blinded by it .
when the dark clouds have faded ,,
its still another lovely day .
never give up on your own life and happiness !

and lastly ,, i've got another story to intro .
HAAS . i just finished reading the 17 prieview chapters online .
the title of the story is 'I Believe You' .
its a romantic and bittersweet story, written by Low Kay Hwa, it
is briefly about two Singapore Junior College students trying to find their meanings in life.its a very touching story that makes me wna cry .
